Manifesto
Fungi are not only biological organisms.
They are also objects of memory, transmission, practices, beliefs, knowledge, stories and futures.
Ethnomycology invites us to look at them as relational beings, situated at the crossroads of life, culture, history, food, traditional medicine, techniques and collective imaginaries.
Journal
A quarterly publication dedicated to the relationships between fungi, cultures and societies.
The Journal of Ethnomycology is an independent publication of the Société ethnomycologique de Genève, dedicated to ethnomycology, fungal knowledge, cultural practices, field narratives and contemporary research.
The journal will welcome research articles, essays, field notes, interviews, artistic contributions and archival documents. It may also offer a publishing space for international researchers, practitioners and authors.
